for my dear Rossilawati. she used to be the gsst in sk. telanok. we had great fun while we were teaching there. she's now a student (yeah, back to college) continuing her study in nursing. all the best cik la!! i miss u heaps =)
she's gonna be a fun-loving nurse! i'm sure of it =D
HELP! opinion needed : somebody (a college student) sent me a request to make 20 pieces mobile straps/keychains for her farewell party. do guys/girls think i can do it? judging from my current progress (ahem, improvement), i think i'm ok to stitch a couple of them. but to make 20? huhu.. alin suggested me to make one and show her the sample, if she's ok with it, then i should take the opportunity to challenge myself.. haha.. what say u?

i promised my yr3 class to reward the top 3 students of the recent school based exam. so, last night i managed to produce 3 keychains, one for each. pasni, belajar rajin2 ye
i used printed felts, blue for boys and red for girls. they were pretty easy to make and i think i'll never run out of rewards again. yeah!
personalised - with their names at the back of the keychain

i was supposed to mark exam papers during the weekends but i just didnt feel like doing so. my weekends are for other things than school related. so, i tried making baby booties =) yey, its not like i'm gonna have a baby soon (noooooo...) this time around i used a printed felt and boy, i tell u it was fun fun fun making the booties and i learnt so much- the sole, the insteps, bla bla.. i googled few tutorials, select the easiest and combine them to make my first keychain size booties
the first one, well, as usual quite 'cacat' and a bit out of shape. gotta perfect the art. i wanna make the actual size booties!! (this gotta wait until the raya holidays i guess)
keychain size. not the actually size.
i also made a handphone pouch for my seasoned samsung. haha. never had one before. just playing around with a plain felt and a cheap cotton lining i bought earlier.
not too bad, eh?
the inside - yes2, that cheap cotton lining =p

salam and hello dearie, how are you today? people said 09/09/09 is a lucky date, good number bla bla bla. well, im working today and it has been one of my busiest day in school, one of my kids puked and no i didnt have to clean it up, (thanks makcik cuci), also i have been pestered by an agent to buy insurance from the company, and the phone keeps on ringing for no reason (oh, i want htc) so, i aint so lucky on this lucky day i guess
on the other hands, last night i managed to make a funny looking 3D xbox for hubby. ahaha. gelak dulu. it is ridiciously funny that i have to think twice to put it up here. but, a promise is a promise, so feast your eyes and have fun giggling
this is the beginning of the total mistakes - shouldnt tear them into pieces. some should not be cut apart. sigh
hahahaha. enuff said.
hahahaha lagi =p
i enjoyed making this start button. coolness- the shape
the upside down xbox. wahahaha. gile
the best angle i could capture to hide minimise the ugly-ness of this xbox.
oh gamers, spare me your curses. i really like the real xbox360 tho. honestly.

after 'sahur' this morning, i looked at my messy craft materials at the corner of the room and im so determined to get them a box (like a real box with compartments). a.s.a.p. anyway, while i was cleaning the mess, i found some 'cekak' i bought few weeks ago. after a few mixing and matching actions, this is the outcome:
remember that little cutie? i made that flowery brooch last friday while waiting for the 4pm ferry
self proclaimed 'clever smart invention' - the ric rac ribbon acts as a platform where i can attach and detach any brooches i want (perhaps other shapes/colours) weeee~
speaking of which, i think white or black 'cekak' would be a smart investment as it matches almost any colour, so i'll make sure that i buy some white or black 'cekak' next time i go shopping
iman has been sleeping with her green hairband eversince and she loves the 'i love u' shape, yeah, that heart shape.
later today, i finally got myself a nice transparent box with 14 compartments- enough for them little buttons, ribbons, beads, pins etc. syd texted me saying that sha has given birth to a baby girl
congrats my dear. perhaps i could make something for the baby girl. aaahh, girls sure love pretty stuff eh?

ok, i have enable comment(s) for my posts. so please do not hesitate to tell me what you think eh.
hurm, yesterday yuen twitted me and ask me to try out her doodles. as i dont really have anything to do today, i decided to give her doodles a try. there are three designs actually, but i only managed to make one for today. boy, i'm excited to make the other two already! fiy, i screwed the scarf during my first attempt to make it, but felts are forgiving
i can easily remake the scarf- a better one i think.

this is yuen's
yeah, the 'cacat' scarf
this is more like it *smug*
i think before it was tranformed into a strap, it looked better
p/s: my dear darling yuen, dont smack me if you think i've done a terrible job. tell me what when wrong =p

2pm- the ferry decided not to board us
and we had to wait until 4pm for the next ferry. we were so tired thus we decided to just hang around the terminal and wait. i wanted to kill the time with some productive fillers so i took out my toolbox (its a bata comfort shoe box actually
) and an hour later, this is what i managed to come out with. totally free cutting.
the making of an xbox (will probably take up few days to be assembled and stitched
)
